SCHOLARSHIPS PROVIDED BY:
              THE CHILDREN'S TRUST OF ALACHUA COUNTY

FOR SUMMER CAMP ONLY!! Camp Makerie has been approved as a provider for scholarships funded by the Children's Trust of Alachua County (CTAC).  

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Eligibility requirements:
- Must be a resident of Alachua County (provide documentation)
AND ONE OF THE FOLLOWING (documentation required)
- Family at or below 300% of 2025 federal poverty guidelines
- Family receiving SNAP benefits
- Child is in fostercare, voluntary formal kinship care, or under case management supervision

WHAT DOES IT COVER
The scholarship 100% all tuition fees for the camp session and any needed extended care times.  It does not cover any additional food options offered through Camp Makerie (optional lunch ordering and snack ordering).  Those are optional add ons and would have to be purchased separately or you can choose to have lunch/snacks sent from home.

HOW DO I APPLY?
Fill out the scholarship application, complete the CTAC waiver and send them to us with the required documentation.  Submit them to: magic@campmakerie.com / Subject: CHILDRENS TRUST 

Once we have your application and documentation, you will be sent a CODE to use in our registration system to reserve your camp weeks! 

Here are the documents you need to fill out and email to us with your documentation:
1. APPLICATION Fill out 1 for each camper you are applying for
2. CTAC WAIVER Fill out 1 for each camper you are applying for
- A Florida ID and/or Proof of Alachua County residency may be required.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: In accepting this scholarship you are committing to attend all dates of your chosen camp session(s).  Scholarship campers that attend less than 3 days of a scheduled week of camp (MUST ATTEND ALL DATES of 3 day camps) will be charged the full camp fee as you will be in violation of the terms of the Childrens Trust agreement and it will no longer cover the camp fees for your child.

After you are registered you will start receiving our parent informational emails and updates.  We encourage you to download our summer handbook (located at the top of this page) to get prepared for camp!
